Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has potential with its excellent spa facilities and great service, making it a good option for relaxation. However, the rooms and dining experience need significant improvement to match the expectations set by the facilities. Despite these shortcomings, the location is convenient for exploring the city.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the rooms were comfortable and well-furnished, the service left a lot to be desired, with unfriendly staff and long wait times. The hotel is located a bit far from the center of Budapest, which made transportation a hassle. The breakfast was decent, but overall, the experience was disappointing, especially for a place that markets itself as a spa hotel.
My stay was quite mixed. While the hotel has impressive spa facilities and a great pool area, I experienced some issues with the room and service upon arrival. After a rocky start, the rest of my stay turned out to be more enjoyable, thanks to the helpful staff and the spacious room I was eventually given. However, it's clear that some elements need improvement to fully enhance the experience.
The hotel has a lot of potential, with nice spa facilities and a decent breakfast selection. However, the service left much to be desired; we faced long waits during check-in and some staff were unfriendly. The rooms were comfortable but the overall experience was marred by the service shortcomings, making it hard for me to recommend it wholeheartedly.
I had a lovely long weekend at The Aquincum Hotel for my wife's 40th birthday. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the thermal pools were really enjoyable, although the jacuzzi was broken during our stay. We found the hotel quite clean, but the room had a few minor issues and it could use some updating. The location is convenient, especially with the train station nearby, making it easy to get to the city center quickly.
